Terms of Use

Version [1.0] · Effective [date]

Draft. This page is being reviewed by a lawyer. Some details, shown in yellow, are still being filled in.

By creating an account or using Studio Frame you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account.

When you create an account you agree to thisI have read and agree to the Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy. I understand that Studio Frame shows videos from other platforms, that I am responsible for the videos I show, and that those platforms can change or stop their embeds at any time.

1. Who we are

Studio Frame is operated by Studio Frame, [business address] ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@studioframe.net. Studio Frame is a set of web tools: the Studio Frame editor and its OBS display, Background Remover, Frame Cleaner and Shorts Maker.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least [18] years old and able to enter a contract. If you use Studio Frame for a business or a channel, you confirm you may bind it.

3. Your account

Give a real email and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account. A plan allows a set number of devices. Do not share your login beyond that limit. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.

4. Free trial and plans

New accounts get a 7-day free trial with no card. We allow one trial per person, device and network, and we may refuse or end a trial we believe is abused. Paid plans are billed monthly in US dollars through our payment provider [PayMongo / Polar]. Prices and what each plan includes are shown on the pricing page. We may change them for future billing periods, and we will tell you before the change reaches you.

5. Payments and cancellation

Your card or e-wallet details go to the payment provider on its own checkout page. We never receive or store them. You can cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow the Refund Policy.

6. Videos and content from other platforms

Studio Frame lets you place videos from YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok and other sources into a frame. Please read this section carefully.

  • The videos are played by those platforms. We do not host, copy, edit or endorse them, and we do not own them.
  • Those platforms set their own rules and can change, limit or stop their embeds, links and players at any time, without notice to us. If that happens, part of Studio Frame may stop working for those videos. We are not liable for it and we do not owe a refund for it beyond the Refund Policy.
  • You are responsible for the videos, pictures and sounds you show, record or stream, and for having the right to use them. Owners and platforms may take down content, mute it, claim it, issue copyright strikes or suspend channels. That risk is yours, not ours.
  • Do not use Studio Frame to show content that is illegal or that breaks the rules of the platform where you stream.
  • If you believe content shown through Studio Frame infringes your rights, write to support@studioframe.net with the details and we will look into it.

No responsibility for what is shown. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible or liable for any content that is displayed, played, recorded, streamed or published through Studio Frame, whether it comes from another platform, from you or from anyone else. This includes any claim, takedown, copyright strike, loss of income, loss of audience or channel action that results from it.

7. Streaming platforms and stream keys

Studio Frame produces a picture that you send to YouTube, Facebook, TikTok or another service through your own streaming software. Your stream keys stay in that software. We never ask for them. Keep them private. Each service has its own rules and eligibility (for example age and follower requirements), and we do not control them.

8. Your content and your data

Your saved Frames, pictures and settings remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you. Background Remover and Shorts Maker process your files in your browser and do not upload them. We never receive or store your card or e-wallet details. The payment provider handles them. Your password is never stored as you typed it. It is kept only as a one-way hash that we cannot read or reverse. Your saved Frames, links, pictures and settings are visible only to you, the account holder. Our admin and support tools show only your email address, plan and account status. They do not display your Frames, links, pictures, settings or password, and our team does not open or read them. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising. The Privacy Policy explains the little we do keep and why.

Your OBS link. Each saved Frame has its own OBS link. The link belongs to your account and is tied to it. It is not a stream and not a hosted video: it works only inside OBS on your own computer, while your Studio Frame editor is open, and it shows nothing to anyone else without your editor. Anyone who has your link may be able to load the pictures you added to that Frame, so keep your link private. We do not show the contents of your Frames or your links to our team. Our admin and support tools show only your email address, plan and account status, and we do not open or read what you saved. Videos are played from the platforms that host them. We do not host, record or re-stream them.

Security. Your data is encrypted while it travels between you and us (HTTPS) and while it is stored by our hosting provider. This does not mean that nobody could ever read it: our hosting provider holds the keys, and we protect your content by our rules and by how our tools are built, not by end-to-end encryption.

9. Acceptable use

Do not: break the law; break another person's rights; try to get around plan limits, device limits or the free-trial rules; copy, scrape, reverse engineer or resell the service or its code; attack, overload or probe it; or help others do any of this. We may suspend or end accounts that do.

10. Our rights

The service, its code, design and name belong to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use it while your account is active and you follow these Terms. Using it does not give you any right to our code or brand.

11. Results and AI tools

Background Remover and Shorts Maker use automatic tools. Their results can be wrong or imperfect. Check them before you use them.

12. Availability and changes

We work to keep Studio Frame running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. We will try to give notice of changes that matter.

13. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without promises that it fits a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows.

14. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost audience, or channel actions taken by other platforms. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the [3] months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

15. Ending the account

You may delete your account in the Account page. We may suspend or end it if you break these Terms, if you abuse the free trial, or if the law requires. What we keep after that is explained in the Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will tell you in the app or by email before an important change applies, and we will record the version you accepted. If you keep using Studio Frame after the change, you accept it.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [the Philippines]. Disputes go to [the courts of ___ / arbitration in ___].
